you, it was the tea party republicans that caused this our bond rating was downgraded not because the US lacks the funds to payback its debts (our Debt to GDP ratio). Our Debt rating was downgrade for it was obvious to the rating agency that the US political system is so polarized that it was no longer evident that the Full Faith and Credit was extended to our debts.
