I did wonder yesterday when they didn't say it was his gun if he was caught in a crossfire and they were shooting someone else or the cab driver. But nothing has come out on that and i'd have expected the media to leak something by now.
He most likely didn't fire the gun and the gun was most likely his but it isn't 100% sure yet.
Nothing will be known till the full IPCC report comes out I guess. You'd think people could wait for that, I mean it's a rare occurence for UK police to fire a gun, never mind kill someone.
I think the fact it is a rare occurrence means that when ever the police shoot someone it is massive news - if they did it often enough people would lose interest
