If you want less kids, then you need greater access to birth control, better education on birth control, and less stigma associated with it in certain areas of the population.


This part however I do agree with.

I was merely speaking from self-experience that celibacy is truly possible ... human beings are very capable of controlling their urges - trust me, or there would be alot more dead people right this very minute by my own hand. I fully disregard someone who says they couldn't control themselves (regardless of situation) ... it's utter horse shit.

Sometimes circumstances puts us in a tight squeeze where we have to react on "instinct", but I don't buy the statement you made that people will eventually "give in to it" ... they may give in to repeated temptation to doing whatever it is they are resisting, but considering they did not do what was necessary to put themselves out of "harms way" shows they truly did not want to resist in the first place, it's not instinct based.

That implies that man is a utterly illogical animal. And while we are indeed animals, we are not ruled by instinct.

Celibacy isn't obstaining from sex until you're 21 years old. Or for a year or two or five. It means NEVER having sex. EVER. It is possible for people with very low sex drives, which will be a small percentage of the population, but it is not an option as public policy, or advice.
