parents always have a right to have a say in what their children are being taught and how it is being taught. They don't need special circumstances to have that right. The very idea that parents should have to prove they have that in so crazy it is stunning to see the argument being made. If parents are upset about the way reading is being taught the have the right to protest and to elect people who would teach it different.
