It is even more likely to succeed if done as bread. I've experimented with a number of different quick breads (banana nut, etc). As long as you follow the recipe for smushed fruit quantity, you can put in whatever you want as long as the viscosity is similar. I've done banana applesauce, banana blueberry, apple blueberry, apple cranberry... All came out great.
