I probably should have known better; everything I hear about honey suggests it is surprisingly healthy for something so sweet. Of course, I cannot claim to be comprehensively knowledgeable or free of bias there, since that position fits my "all else being equal, natural products are usually healthier than artificial ones" world view. Please note that I mean that in the sense of "bananas are healthier than banana flavored candy (with Yellow40! )" not in the sense of "acetominophen is inferior to this mushroom I found under a random log."
