It's easy to paint the rich as a monolithic elite intent on oppressing the lower class, instead of realizing that there are a host of factors that limit class mobility.

It's also easier to dismiss legitimate complaints as lazy people who don't feel like paying their bills than it is to think to yourself, "Huh. Student loans aren't dischargeable via bankruptcy. That must make it difficult for people to get out of debt. I wonder why that exception exists?"
