But, I bought my dress vintage and made the centerpieces, invitations, and programmes myself. So, that cut it down a bit. The cost began to add up when the venue, caterer and the like were taken into account. If I was any good at making and decorating a cake, I would have done that myself as well. I felt weird dolling out about $600 just for a cake. I mean, my dress was only $260! Weird.
