The problem is, at times when the gf has Uni, it would be alone for 6-8 hours, that's not good. And we aren't sure what monthly costs would come with it. So I fear it's not an option right now.
I just remembered: we also can't agree whether it's okay for a pet like dog or cat to sleep in the bed. That's a huge No go for me.

The thought keeps sticking with me - I really want a dog. I have had them my whole life, in some way or another (at home while I was at college, roommate owned some after school, etc).

It occurred to me that I don't know what kind of pets any of YOU have, other than a few exceptions.

Who has what?

We have two gerbils.
Is that your favorite type of pet?

Well, my favorite of what I've had so far (bird, bunny, this).
But yeah I'd really love to have a dog.

Did you adopt a stray/shelter pet? Or buy from a breeder?

We bought from breeders.

Rintin and Zornickel.

Is it a good pet?

Yes we managed to make them quite tame, can have them walk around on our shoulders and pet them.

This is going to be a horrible question, but: would you make a different decision now?
