If the Catholic Church recognizes that exception, they would be well served to say so.

I highly doubt that even Catholic institutions have problems with the Pill being prescribed to correct health issues. It's a question of whether or not employers should be forced to pay for something that can be achieved without recourse to pills. If a woman uses the Pill solely for contraception then she does not have a health problem.
I am not aware they have, and until then it is misleading to pretend this is about promiscuous sex when sexually inactive women become sterile and/or incapacitated by menstrual cramps just because they do not have the pill. My wifes best friend was prescribed the pill about the time she finished junior high (well, the equivalent here) for the latter reason; the pain was so bad she could barely stand, and did miss school. She was not sexually active, she was just prescribed necessary treatment for a medical condition. The funny thing is, socialist Norway covers contraception for female minors but NOT adults.

Yes, but "socialist American women" are usually the ugly ones that don't shave their armpits.

Once again: if the Pill is used to correct health problems IT IS NOT CONTRACEPTION

And... it's still the same pill, regardless of why it's being prescribed.
