Are they actually going to look out for our best interests? I don't mean are they going to give us what we want. Because, honest, we've proven over the last 20 years or so that as a nation, we're just not that smart. Why should we be trusting what we want? So are they actually going to look out for us? No. Probably not. Most likely not. Find me someone who can truly fix this country. Fuck fixing the economy. The economy being bad is a symptom. Make us a country that is intelligent, secure, happy and proud. But mostly intelligent. Because god, there are some stupid fucks here. Not just among the rich. Among the middle class. Among the poor. Stupidity really and truly runs rampart.

The old school of thought has left. Hard work while not completely gone is fading. Pride in education and knowledge (true knowledge and understanding, not spewing out asinine facts to win an argument) needs to make an appearance. And dependence upon oneself. I don't see it. I don't see it among everyday people. I don't see it among our leaders. Give me a candidate like this and I'll vote for him. Don't give me one and I'll vote for no one.
