No more than Christians taking pagan holidays and making up reasons for them having to do something with Jesus. We don't care, we just have a day off. They could change the name and date and "reason" and no one would care, as long as we got the day off.
Raising the question of why it merits a federal policy change in the first place. If it is not worth giving up ~3% of ones (paid) time, why is it worth an act of parliament?
And, of course, very religious but non-Christian Swedes (including thousands of immigrants) would care a great deal if they got a secular federal holiday rather than one devoted to what they consider a false religion.
