I got into a very serious argument with a friend after I pointed out that the arrogance he displayed in his posts was at odds with the person I knew him to be in real life. However, he had told me that I was, essentially, stupid and wilfully malicious.
Not to inflate your ego or anything, but I'm fairly certain even an idiot can tell you're not stupid. I could see willfully malicious.
