Other than Robin van Persie's extremely rare flashes of brilliance, I haven't seen much impressive from anyone besides Sneijder and once or twice Van der Vaart. Seems to me you have too many players who are great when they're good, but suck when they're bad, and he's the most constant of the lot.

Admittedly, in terms of coming back to defend he isn't exactly all that, but then neither are the others (excepting Kuyt of course).
