Oh, and the last time, a little over 20 years ago, we agreed to a tax increase in exchange for cuts, the cuts never materialized and Clinton ran his campaign around Bush raising taxes. That worked out so well for us we can't wait to do it again.

And I know it surprises a lot of people, but Republicans under age 40 favor gay rights by a higher margin than this group: Democrats over age 40. It's mostly an age issue and republicans are older, the president himself, even though no one believes him, was firmly opposed to gay marriage while the left went around pounding the right for having the exact identical opinion.
