Not as if anything could make me ever vote Rep if I was American, but it's nice of them to regularly remind me why that thought is such a Nono.

The idea being Romney sees the election slipping away and put a far right conservative on the ticket ala Palin so when he loses he can say, "See? You radicals cost me the presidency! O^" Of course, that logic assumes a man who has been running for president since (at least) 2007 gave up before his party even had its convention, despite facing an unpopular president during a recession.

Further irony: This may be the only universally popular decision Romney has made since his FIRST presidential run.
