All the charitable endeavors you list are traditionally one of the mission of the Catholic churches. But they are optional. Religion organizations doesn't have to provide an accounting of how much they spend on charitable activities versus everything else. They also can and do have businesses that generate profit. What about religions that do more harm than good?
