The primary was six months ago, and endorsing every aspect of limited welfare states is not centrist Joel Send a noteboard - 04/10/2012 06:00:56 PM
I don't Obama talking much about his plan would drive coal fired power genrators out of business or how we need to stop spending money in the suburbs so we can spend more in the inner city. Everyone moves to the center after the primary and suddenly all these silly folks on the left are getting torqued up becuae Romney did it. I guees if you get most of your news about Romney from left leaning blogs the reality of who is actually is might have been shocking.

Romney did not just flip flop on his positions for a few months during the GOP primary, but on the far right platform he affirmed from 2008 until, well, last night. He will probably get away with it, because 80% or more of the country was not paying attention until last night, but let us not pretend he meant any of it, or that you would not be apopleptic if he followed through on half the things he said last night.

I get it, man: Romney committed to nearly everything you hate about the left, but he is a Republican and it helped his poll numbers, so it is fine. :)

Unfortunately statistics does not support that. - 04/10/2012 06:11:56 PM 700 Views
Of course they do; the law of averages supports that. - 04/10/2012 06:46:27 PM 731 Views
Poll numbers aren't random so even if the law of averages could be applied to a small data set... - 04/10/2012 07:05:49 PM 612 Views
that is why you can't base things on just one poll - 05/10/2012 01:27:18 AM 795 Views
