"Intends" is a big word. Joel Send a noteboard - 27/10/2012 09:23:13 PM
Ergo intending a pregnancy intends its cause, be it rape or any other. If God intended a woman to get pregnant, but did NOT intend her rape, He would cause her pregnancy another way (He does, after all, have well documented unlimited means to do so.) Saying He intended pregnancy from rape means just that.

Logically, everything that has ever happened, good or bad, is God's intention. Also, I never said I agreed with his assertion that it was God's intention to create life but not God's intention for the rape to occur. I merely explained what he meant, which anyone should have clearly gleaned.

God gave us free will; that does not mean He intended every human act, else it would be incredible unjust for Him to hold anyone else accountable for sin He foreordained. He takes into account acts He knows we will commit, compensates for them so we do not individually or collectively derail the universes destiny, but just because He cleans up our messes when necessary does not mean He made them in the first place.
