I am no expert, but I think Romney is done. nossy Send a noteboard - 07/11/2012 07:00:33 PM
And I think the right has to shift now. I don't want to be a democrat, particularly. I have said several times here that I don't feel comfortable being pushed towards a straight ticket, but I can only be asked to respect so much social conservatism before it becomes important enough for me to vote against. Or at least not let anyone use my vote to say "Look, women DO think it's ok for us to say these things!" I want reasonable fiscal policies, but when neither party seemed to be forthcoming with any substantial plans for that, the other issues can sway me.

So. They better get their act together - we have shown that even when our option is a pres who hasn't done very well, we won't be pushed further right unless it can really be sold with the total package. That's my take.
