That is a decade old and horribly discredited citation Isaac Send a noteboard - 29/09/2009 11:46:51 PM
we're top 3 when it comes to spending on health care, but yet our country as a whole is ranked #37 in overall health. but i guess it's more important that we *don't* take care of our own people as long as we can keep up the status quo

Maybe you missed the part at the top where it said "The World Health Organization's ranking of the world's health systems was last produced in 2000, and the WHO no longer produces such a ranking table, because of the complexity of the task."

That's diplo speak for two things, "We got accused of extreme bias" and "The complexity of the task involves lots of people screaming at us"

The link below explains many of the alleged faults with how the WHO 2000 study was compiled, and is not a decade old, it's from last year.

I'd especially point out that of their five factors "Finacial fairness" is one, and makes up 25% of their weighted value.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
