Naive, my friend. It's just our nature to be violent.

I don't suggest that there is a simple fix that will solve all your violence problems just like that. But it seems fairly absurd to claim that there's no possible way you could ever reduce the violence rate. There are, after all, countries with considerably less violence - and of course also countries with far more. And the rates of things like murder or violent assault can in fact fall, sometimes quite rapidly, when the right measures are taken. "Violent nature" or not.
