View original postIn various studies I've seen on the subject, the United States is often in the top ten, but is never number one. Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the Netherlands, and a handful of Scandinavian countries are always recognized as being more "free" than the USA.
I think you won't convince him of this. He likes to claim America is the best, despite not having lived in other comparable countries.
