View original postI like normal veggies just fine, though I'd usually rather eat them raw than cooked and mixed with stuff. Carrots, tomatoes, green peppers, corn, potatoes, raw peas, string beans, English cucumbers, romaine and iceberg lettuce, raw broccoli, cauliflower if it's with cheese sauce, all quite good. Grape tomatoes are my favourite. I'll eat them like candy.
You've got me on a few - I don't like peas and beans as much as I think I should.
View original postIt's only the strange, malicious veggies I struggle with. Brussels sprouts, asparagus, eggplants, radishes, cabbages, yams, zucchinis, and probably all sorts of others I'm forgetting.
I thought I hated Brussels sprouts, but I've recently discovered that I can love them. Seriously, a fave vegetable if cooked properly (fry bacon, caramelize sprouts in the remaining grease, then simmer in cream until they are softer. S&P. Put bacon crumbles back in.)
Because of Rebekah, I just made some awesome dinner.
