I saw the student who sued over the Michigan Law School race preference policy, and she said that specifically one could either use economic disadvantage or race but not both when calculating preferences, but the economic disadvantage gave more points so apparently the only people who benefited from racial preferences were coming from good schools.

Ultimately, regardless of what school someone goes to, affirmative action erodes their achievements because people will assume that they are "diversity students" and question their merits.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
