If nothing else, because it encourages your opponents to do the same. I didn't see Isaac talking about impeachment anywhere, and in case you missed it, his reply to the main thread mentioned that he was reserving judgement, not making anyone into a scapegoat.

Also, even aside from that, don't use the words "you are all barking mad" if you want to have a serious discussion, which clearly you do considering the efforts you made to list and back up those four points.
