But seriously, why were the Lib Dems crushed? They lost like 85-90% of their seats. Also, what is the Scot Party all about, independence?

View original postReally, really bizarre outcome though, if you've followed the election campaign - pretty strong proof that the UK is far harder to forecast, at least with the current tools available, than American elections.


View original postI'm not unhappy that the Conservatives outperformed expectations so much, but the obliteration of the Lib Dems is not good for the country, nor is the extreme polarization between Scotland (and to a lesser degree Wales) and England.
