What does one thing have to do with the other? Legolas Send a noteboard - 14/11/2015 09:30:59 PM

View original postSuch a failure, in every sense of the word. And one of the main terrorists may have been a "Syrian refugee". If true, enjoy the next 4 years of President Trump.

Containing IS is about their "state" in Syria and Iraq - and preventing them from establishing de facto control over parts of Libya, Afghanistan or the Sinai. The terrorism abroad is something completely different.

The next weeks and months will have to show who was involved and whether the French intelligence services made mistakes, or could have prevented it somehow. But at first glance it doesn't have much to do with what the US did or didn't do, to be honest. Trying to use the attacks for political gain in American internal politics is not only tasteless, it's also just silly.
