Oh wait they did not, it was the other way around Japan attacked pearl harbor in 1941 and murdered over 2400 US Soldiers. I am sorry but facts matter and he was so wrong on the facts it had to be corrected.
And you're just as wrong in your assumptions that he was talking about TARP in 2008. He said
Under Bush, they spent about $300 billion in bailouts in total, until Obama took office. So why do assume that a complaint about spending $500 billion on banks, refers to the TARP plan (which Obama supported, voting for the economic stabilization act)? Under Obama, Fannie or Freddie was making 11 digit requests every other month or so. Close to $300 billion was paid out in bailouts during Obama's first term. He could have cut off TARP at any time, having a majority in both houses.
You also didn't address any of his other points. If they weren't wrong, it hardly calls for a revocation of speaking privileges, especially in a post started by a much more egregious offender. Remember, this is response to a complaint about wasting seven million dollars, and we're correcting each other over hundreds of billions. TR's point was that moondog's complaint about waste is hypocritical and spurious, especially in the context of government spending. All your corrections do is confirm the scale of that spending. Whether those bipartisan abominations spent 100, 200 or 500 billion dollars, it is still hundreds of billions, next to 7 million.
