It's true there's no great risk in electing someone with such radical propositions to the presidency, if his chances of getting them through Congress are effectively non-existent.
View original postFrom my point of view, Sanders' domestic policies differed from Clinton's only in degree - her positions, and those of the mainstream Democratic party were so far out of line with acceptable operations or Constitutional limits that it didn't matter that Sanders might be even worse, assuming he could get any of that done.

So yeah, between that and what I said to Tyr about the thought experiment of trying to imagine Clinton as somehow comparable to Trump, I can see the reasoning to prefer Sanders, as weird as it seems judging by the simple logic of the political spectrum where Clinton is clearly closer to the Republican positions.
