Trump is such a disaster for so many reasons that one is strongly tempted to talk about nothing else than that.

I dare say a lot of people feel the same way, or the reverse in Trump's case, even if I can't possibly imagine how. After all, he won the primary easy enough, and while he wasn't at that time the complete trainwreck he is now, most of his flaws (or what many among us consider flaws, anyway) were already obvious enough.

Nevertheless, I would hardly say fascinating - it's hard to see any way in which this election avoids being a dark day in American history. Or how the next four years will move back in the right direction, either.
