My cousin just posted another status update about it on facebook. Though this one doesn't make a lick of sense: "thinks that if anyone has a problem with co2 emissions we d better ban vegitation and volcanos too..."
Anyway, because of the movie The Great Global Warming Swindle (and that episode of Penn & Teller: Bullshit where they get people to sign a petition to ban "di-hydrogen monoxide"
, he doesn't believe in it.
1/2. So, do you believe that humans are causing global warming? Or is it natural?
3. Do you believe in global warming at all?
4. Do you like iced tea?

I do not believe in Global Warming, because I do not trust the scientific community. First, a consensus does not proof make. I don't care how many people agree, unless it is proven, it is not fact, just theory. Second, I believe the data collected has been presented in such a skewed and exaggerated manner as to be worthless. If the scientists (and I am using that term loosely when talking about Global Warming people) had held to scientific principles when actually presenting findings to the world at large, my view would probably be different.
That being said, I do believe in being a good steward and want to reduce CO2 emissions for different reasons such as smog and health reasons. I think more natural forms of energy production will go along way to making this a better world. Things like Solar Power or producing fuel using Algae. Besides that, those are just cool freaking tachnologies...especially the algae thing.
That being said,
Castle: This is so weird. I dressed up as him for Halloween.
Beckett: Me too.

I believe that we are contributing. But I do not believe that global warming is entirely man-made.
