You can't spell diet without die... snoopcester Send a noteboard - 02/09/2009 04:37:07 PM
1. Atkins Diet (minimal carbs, no starch, high meat protein)

Horrible diet. It just doesn't sound healthy to me

2. Vegetarian (mostly fruits/vegetables, sometimes dairy and eggs)

No problem with this one - very healthy as long as one makes sure to balance the diet.. I like meat too much to follow it but it can be healthy (I also know vegetarians with weight problems though:P)

3. Vegan (absolutely no animal products)

Bbbbboooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnggggggg!

4. Mediterranean Diet (high plant consumption, fruit desserts, olive oil for fat, cheese and yogurt, white meat, eggs, low red meat, wine)

This one is healthy and tastes good.

5. Paleolithic Diet (no potatoes, grains, dairy or beans, encouraged lean meat consumption, most plants, mostly water/tea as beverage)

Yuck. Really, really yuck. Can't imagine it is easy to eat a balanced diet nor would it be interesting.

6. Raw Food Diet (mostly like Paleolithic diet, but NO COOKING ALLOWED)

Erm. That is just messed up.

Henning Mankell "We must defend the open society, because if we start locking our doors, if we let fear decide, the person who committed the act of terror will win"
