have YOU ever seen a healthy vegan? LadyLorraine Send a noteboard - 02/09/2009 05:11:12 PM

Anyway. I eat primarily fruits/vegetables and white meat, with a small amount of red meat, average amount of grain products, and very little potatoes, dairy, and beans. In that sense I suppose I'm closest to a Paleolithic diet, though loosely. From what I've read (admittedly less than most of you in this thread, I'm sure) cutting out animal products entirely seems healthiest, but only if you do it really well. For those of us who aren't as good at managing what we eat, substituting small amounts of the healthier animal products seems a good, and close, second best. Plus its tastier. :|

I haven't :P
