I still have my doubt about the wisdom of changing but it looks like me soon have facts and theory to discuss. It will be interesting to see how it is implemented because I believe there will be action on this issue this year. Maybe not a total lift of the ban but something.

It would make good political sense for Obama to do something along these lines. The social cons hate him anyways so no loss there the center is worried about jobs but it would help him with a base who is feeling abandoned. What he can't do though it is let it become a distraction where people think a liberal agenda is once again being put in front of the economy.
