SHe wrote Energy, Budgets, Tax cuts, lift american spirits - this looks to me like she jotted down her talking points. I promise you most public figures regularly have note cards that say things like that, it's a reminder of points you want to emphasize and cover, because it's easy to get distracted on stage. Obviously, she couldn't have a notecard in hand, skin works fine I also often write talking points on my palm. 'newton's laws, quiz friday, solve problem 9' for 'the lecture is about netwon's laws, don't get distracted and talk about relativity, don't forget to tell them you're giving them a quiz on friday, and demonstrate homework problem 9 on the board since a lot of people got it wrong' Oh, the embarrassment! I must be a seventh grader too


Well, if you can pull it off without drawing attention to your hand, then it could work. Otherwise, it just looks silly. I also wrote stuff on my hand once or twice before presentations, but I was able to stand behind a podium, so it was OK.
