True, you are probably better educated now and further down the marginal benefit curve than you really believe. That's a point worth appreciating. However, if hope, ambition, curiosity, or whatever is making you happier now, then her analysis may be flawed for not taking that into account. Being happy takes practice. Your future happiness is dependent on your current happiness.


I'm happier than I've been in literally years.

However. I have "real" work to do as well, but I hate having to be the one to answer every call, to do all the filing.. I hate that the rules i follow are different from the rules everyone else follows. I want to be the one that puts the stuff in the "to file" bin. LOL

In other words, I'm smarter than this.



Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for this job. But sheesh, I can do so much more.
