but at least for short-term discussions, if anything, the animal may for some reason come to associate "seeing the vet" as "I'm going to feel better now!!", but that would probably require a relatively intelligent animal, who doesn't dislike the vet, and that goes into the vet for disease-issues relatively frequently (and feels better quickly enough to associate it with the vet).

I'd say, then, that it may be a possibility, but it's probably not a frequent enough occurrence for the vets to worry about.

but that's just my thoughts on it.
