It's pretty clear that logically and rationally, you're being reasonable. But he wasn't arguing based on logic or rational thought. I don't know exactly where he was coming from, it sounds highly emotional to me. But that's why you couldn't bridge the communication gap between you two; you were building a bridge to a place nowhere near him.

Since I don't know him, I cannot even begin to speculate why he got so upset about what happened. He should realize that it is just a game, anyway. But then, from my perspective he could have realized that a lot sooner.



I get that way when folks start stuff like this - who wouldn't? But last night I was honestly trying hard to damp this down but he was getting so angry and in my face that there was nothing I could do.

Very upsetting as this guy is one of my closest friends.
