The best advice I've got is that over the next few days you'll have time to cool off and try to present your confusion to her- it's not fair for her to take your child and split w/o making an attempt at working things out, and she probably knows that. You two should be able to have a reasonable discussion soon, hopefully. Try not to get too down, because it's still early.:)

I can see that it's seriously painful for someone to do this, but there is obviously some reason she feels this way- maybe this will turn out to be good for you two as you find out things she's apparently not been able to represent.

That's close to how I'm looking at things at the moment. The elephant is out in the field now and can be seen, assesed and maybe dealt with. Hopefully dealt with.

I'm hopeful, but I'm also not holding my breath. I don't do well with betrayal and this was a pretty huge set of hurtful lies to do for absolutely no reason at all.
