The silver lining - if you can learn to to it, it is incredibly useful in all walks of life. (no pun intended) If you can learn to hide how insane it makes you to do it, that is also very useful.

You can be pretty tactful already. It may not come natural but that doesn't mean that you can't be good at it. I am just glad that she has someone that recognizes... well what you said in the next to last paragraph. And that sometimes the hardest way is the best way in the long run.

I have been in your place but I have felt like her too. At least the trapped part. So I am glad she has you and that whatever you have been through in life to make you the way you are has happened, even if it sucked. Because it prepared you to have the patience you need to succeed here. Am I making sense? It is late and the words are starting to swirl around on the page and I can't tell if I am saying what I am trying to. I may have to edit tomorrow when I have some more time and sleep.
