Thank you for mocking the fact that my first language is not english. Dragonsoul Send a noteboard - 26/03/2010 09:46:03 PM
what are they offering? A product of some sort?

Under a list of economic services: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Service_%28economics%29#Service_definition

If health care is not a service, what is it? What is your answer?

And an example of a non-service industry is the sale of apples. The producer is selling the apple. Not his ability to pick apples, but the apple itself. If he was hiring himself out to pick apples, he'd be providing a service.

oh, and PS. it's "legitimate".

I'd love to see you try to carry this debate in any language other than your own.

And I'm not sure what you'd call an industry that is FREE, as it is here. They may be offering a "service" but when they don't set a price, it's hard to compare it with McDonald's as you seem to be so willing to do.

Did I spell all of that correctly?

P.S. As for your ad hominem attacks I have grown quite tired of them. When you grow up and start acting like an adult, reply. Until then...I believe the English expression is "go rub salt." If not, here's one in my native tongue: vaffanculo.
