Baldur's Gate came out in 1998. You know what that means, right?

It means that WoW is 6 years newer than Baldur's Gate, and 6 years OLDER than a newly released modern game. Can you see where I'm going with this?
If WoW has 6 years of improvement over Baldur's Gate, and a modern game has 6 years of improvement over WoW, then WoW is as inferior to a modern game as Baldur's Gate is to WoW.
From a TECHNICAL STANDPOINT, whether you measure that in texture detail, polygon count, minimum system requirements, or whatever, WoW is at least an order of magnitude below modern standards.

So...how long before we can play WOW on our phones?

Given how crappy the graphics are, I'd say it's a data issue.

"Bad" is subjective. By any modern technical standard, however, they are inferior.

I've noticed that MMO's that have tried to usurp WoW with superior graphics have failed.
