I didn't take inscription to make money though, really. I took it because I've played a lot of WoW in the past, and inscription is the only profession I didn't have experience with. I figured it was new, and, hopefully, fun. I've actually enjoyed it, too. It's not the greatest of professions, but it's saved me a few hundred gold in glyphs, has made me a few hundred selling glyphs, and so on. People are complaining that it's a "dead" profession at the moment, and, while they're mostly right, I'll still have access to a great shoulder enchant that other people can't get. Plus, it's always good to jump into the buff/nerf cycle at a down period. Heck, my first character was a protection warrior. Anyone remember how underpowered those were, back in the days of early vanilla? And then how overpowered warriors got after a while? Inscription will come around.

Oh, and also, I do have herbalism. I can make some money selling stacks of herbs for alchemy. *shrug*
