I've played a few NWN user modules that were astounding in the amount of political strife you could mess around with...if some guy in his basement can do it, you'd think Bioware could.

And yah...the waves were SO ANNOYING. particularly when they were of THUGS. Good lord where are all these people COMING FROM?? Kirkwall's population must be GIGANTIC, which on its own says why it has so many problems...how do you even FEED that many people with that level of technology?!?! And how is it that the common street thug is even feeling up to attacking me in the first place. I'm the Champion of fuckin' Kirkwall.

I don't understand the point of the repeat dungeon maps either...I mean come on. There really is just no excuse.


At this point, I'm honestly kind of regretting paying for DA2. I should have piratebay'd it.


You're still in the same city. It is a quarry, those tunnels are carved from stone. And as much as 3 years pass between each act. Why WOULDN'T new gangs use the tunnels? It's not like you blew them up on your way out.

On that point, why would whole gangs be sitting around in one place for you to fight them? You run into a few of them, they start fighting you, their buddies hear the ruckus and charge over to help out.

On your last point, that's the kind of stinking thinking that leads to the ridiculous DRM schemes they try anyway. If its worth playing, its worth paying for.
