Either number is well above the required minimum. That said, 1mbps makes more sense. Aemon Send a noteboard - 30/09/2011 05:01:17 PM
1mbps is a very common (albeit low-end) upload speed for ISPs in the US. Many ISPs give you more upload bandwidth than that nowadays, but not many of them give you 8mbps (the equivalent of 1MBps). You can get that from FiOS and maybe the top-end tier of a few other ISPs, but it's not common.

Play any PC game on your PC, Mac or tablet, regardless of specifications. Seriously. - 23/09/2011 08:02:37 PM 787 Views
Just one question: is your connection 10MB/sec or 10mbps? - 23/09/2011 11:05:30 PM 426 Views
I'm guessing 10 mbps; 10 MB/s is like 120 mbps *NM* - 24/09/2011 07:57:58 AM 213 Views
80, but close. 1 byte = 8 bits. 10 megabytes = 80 megabits. *NM* - 24/09/2011 05:03:39 PM 167 Views
The bandwidth is not a big deal above a certain threshold. - 24/09/2011 05:10:41 PM 408 Views
So how do you measure or check your latency? *NM* - 24/09/2011 09:14:30 PM 167 Views
Generally, go to speedtest.net - 29/09/2011 09:07:20 PM 376 Views
Again, for the upload speed, do you really mean 1MB/sec or 1mbps? - 29/09/2011 09:26:08 PM 544 Views

I don't need it. I am sitting at a PC powerful enough to play any of these games with no hitches. - 24/09/2011 06:25:36 PM 357 Views
