I'm getting ready for my sabbatical, myself, so we had best make the most of this limited time. I plan to cross the border into Skyrim in just over a week, and who knows if I'll ever be seen again.

I absolutely love Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar managed to create a perfect cowboy/western game. The world is beautiful, rugged, alive. The voice acting is superb. The missions and game play are engaging and immersive. The music and sound are excellent. Great game. First time it rains when you're out in the scrub lands, tilt the camera up to the sky for me... it's just too good.

I haven't bought a new game in almost a year now... my last birthday, which is the end of December. I have two picked out... Skyrim at release and Arkham City at the first really good sale or price drop.

Enjoy yourself... and good journey. Okay... now I need to get back to Fallout New Vegas.
