You can save a lot more than $2 if you're willing to buy used.

Amazon has no used copies of Skyrim right now (360 or PS3). On the other hand, Battlefield 3, which has been out for roughly 2 weeks, can be had for $35 - $40. Less, if you're willing to actually search for a deal. When $2 becomes $20, the debate over waiting a week or two is much harder. Personally, I hate buying used stuff, but I make an exception for video games. They are SO MUCH cheaper, and generally in perfect condition. Heck, two days ago I bought Red Dead Redemption and Star Wars: The Force unleashed from Amazon for less than $20. They're older games, sure, but they would have been $55 to buy new. Oh, and both of them came shrink-wrapped with pristine manuals, and no visible scratches on the disc. So worth it.
I am on the precipice of gaming bliss.

Still tryin' to decide when to buy Skyrim... I'll get it anyway, so waiting seems silly. *NM*

Reviews don't presuade me anymore. My late 20s are making me patient and responsible.

I didn't mean that reviews are going to persuade you, which should have been obvious.

I've seen Battlefield 3 for $28 to $30 in some of the impending Black Friday ads. *NM*
