I didn't mean that reviews are going to persuade you, which should have been obvious.

As you've already claimed that you'll get the game, what exactly would the reviews be persuading you about. What I meant was, knowing that you'll already get the game, read some of the reviews, and then ask yourself if you want to wait a couple weeks or more, save $2 maybe, or if you'll go ahead and pick the game up and dig in right away. It helps you decide if YOU are really interested enough to go right out or wait.
Hey, I have a wife and 3 young kids, a more than full-time job, a leadership role for volunteering, and a single TV and no computer that can run a game. I have, at best, 3 nights a week were I can maybe squeeze 30 to 45 minutes into a game. I know all about patient and waiting until the right time for a game. Back in January, I picked Skyrim as the one game I'll buy this year due to a lack of time and money... despite having nearly a dozen released so far this year that I would love to own/play. Luckily for me, the game that I chose is out and seems so far to live mostly up to the ridiculous hype.

I am on the precipice of gaming bliss.

Still tryin' to decide when to buy Skyrim... I'll get it anyway, so waiting seems silly. *NM*

Reviews don't presuade me anymore. My late 20s are making me patient and responsible.

You can save a lot more than $2 if you're willing to buy used.

I've seen Battlefield 3 for $28 to $30 in some of the impending Black Friday ads. *NM*
