That's an interesting comment, since it's a reflection of how the companies make their money and why only the one has been successful.

Paizo makes money on the APs, modules, player companions, and campaign setting gazeteer - not the hardcover rulebooks.

Compared with D&D launching hardcover after cardcover, with next to nothing for adventures, campaigns, or supplements.
